Jerry Seinfeld made me cry!!!
BillyRay Sheppard and Larry David are really my comedic heroes, I grew up watching Seinfeld. I can make a Seinfeld reference to just about anything. The seasons after that just got too goofy for me, and know most of Season 1-5 episodes by heart. I had never seen a stand-up comedy show before, so I was actually a little nervous about having my view of Seinfeld tainted in any way. Would he make me laugh? Would it be anything like the show or would it be vulgar humor like most of the act today?
I was blown away! He was so spot on with everything he joked about, it was hilarious! I honestly can't describe how great of a show it was, and my fiance and I have been talking about it non-stop. I truly admire good clean humor, and that is what Seinfeld has continued to use. He took so many ordinary situations that we never even think about and made them hysterical. He actually used a lot of physical comedy as well. He was moving around all over the place! From the moment he stepped out on stage, I was in tears. He was on for about an hour and a half, and he literally had the audience laughing every second. To top off the night, he came out after a standing ovation and did a Q&A with the audience.
